Partnership compatibility in numerology is decided by the friendship between two people's ruling planets. This calculator compares both partners' Life Path and Birth numbers and tells you where the partnership will run smoothly and where it will grind.
Business Partner Compatibility Calculator (Numerology)
Check numerology compatibility between business partners using Life Path numbers and the Vedic planetary friendship table — mutual friends, one-sided, neutral, or enemy relationships between your ruling planets.
How this calculation works
Each partner's date of birth produces two numbers: the Life Path (the whole date reduced) and the Birth Number (the day of the month reduced). Each maps to a ruling planet.
Vedic numerology defines fixed relationships between planets — friendly, neutral or enemy. Crucially, these relationships are not always mutual. Planet A can regard planet B as a friend while B regards A as an enemy, which produces the one-sided pattern that causes most partnership confusion.
The calculator reads both layers and returns one of four verdicts: Mutual Friends, One-Sided Friend, Neutral, or Mutual Enemies.
How to read your result
Mutual Friends — decisions and trust flow both ways. Divide roles by strength rather than splitting everything equally.
One-Sided Friend — goodwill runs in one direction. This is workable and common. The partner whose planet gives friendship should hold the relationship-facing roles; the other should own systems and finances.
Neutral — no amplification, no friction. These partnerships succeed on structure. Put decision rights, revenue split and exit terms in writing early.
Mutual Enemies — expect recurring friction over pace and priorities. Separate operational domains completely, route disagreements through written proposals rather than live argument, and time major joint decisions carefully.
A conflicting Life Path with an agreeing Birth Number is common and means the partnership works day to day but strains on long-term direction.
What to do if the result is poor
A conflicting result is not a reason to abandon a working partnership. Most successful partnerships contain at least one conflicting layer.
What it changes is structure. Conflicting pairs need explicit written agreements, separated decision domains, and fewer shared operational responsibilities than friendly pairs do. The failure mode is not the conflict itself but treating a conflicting partnership as though it were a friendly one.
What this calculator does not tell you
This reads two people's numbers. It knows nothing about their skills, their capital, their track record or their character — all of which matter more than numerology does. Use it to anticipate friction patterns, not to select a partner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can two people with conflicting numbers run a business together?
Yes, and many do. Conflicting numbers predict friction patterns, not failure. They call for clearer role separation and written agreements than a friendly pairing needs.
Which matters more, Life Path or Birth Number compatibility?
Life Path governs long-term direction and is weighted higher. Birth Number governs day-to-day working style.
What does a one-sided friendship mean in practice?
One partner naturally extends goodwill and the other does not reciprocate at the same level — usually without either intending it. Assigning the relationship-facing role to the giving partner converts the imbalance into a division of labour.
Should the business name suit both partners?
Ideally it should be friendly or neutral to both Life Paths. Where it strongly favours one partner, that partner should carry the client-facing role.
