A business name can be numerologically strong and still be wrong for you. This calculator reads your business name against your date of birth, so you can see whether the name and its owner are working together.
Business Name Numerology Calculator
Analyse your business name across four numerological systems — Chaldean compound analysis, Pythagorean expression mapping, Vedic planetary compatibility, and the Business Lo Shu Grid — to reveal whether your name, timing, and personal numbers support or limit your growth.

How this calculation works
Your date of birth produces the numbers that represent you:
- Life Path — the entire date reduced. Your core direction.
- Birth Number — the day of the month reduced. Your working style.
- Personal Year — your birth date combined with the current year. Your present twelve-month cycle.
The business name produces its own Chaldean compound, single digit and ruling planet. The calculator then compares the two sets across several layers, using the Vedic planetary friendship table to decide whether each pairing supports, ignores or resists the other.
How to read your result
The layer that matters most is the name against the Life Path. When the business name's ruling planet is friendly to your Life Path planet, decisions inside the business feel natural and the name works with you. When they conflict, the business tends to feel like effort — often for years, without an obvious cause.
A mixed result is normal and usually means the business suits you in one dimension and strains in another. The Personal Year adds timing on top: the same name and owner will find some years easier than others.
What to do if the result is poor
When the name conflicts with your own numbers, you have three options in ascending order of cost:
- Change nothing structural, compensate through branding and timing. Use planet-aligned colours and place important decisions in favourable months.
- Adjust the display spelling so the name's number shifts closer to friendly, without a legal change. The correction calculator finds these.
- Change the name properly — justified when the compound is also one of the warning numbers, and rarely justified otherwise.
If the business is a partnership, run the partner compatibility check too. A name that suits one partner and conflicts with the other needs role clarity rather than a rename.
What this calculator does not tell you
This reads name and birth date. It does not know your industry, your capital, your competition or your skill — all of which decide outcomes far more than numerology does. Use it to understand friction, not to predict results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my date of birth matter for a business name?
The business inherits its owner's energy. A name that conflicts with the owner's numbers creates persistent low-grade friction, which is the most common reason a numerologically strong name still underperforms.
What if I do not know my exact birth time?
It does not matter here. Numerology uses the date only — the time of birth belongs to astrology, not numerology.
Which is more important, the name's own number or its match with me?
Most practitioners weight the owner match slightly higher, because the owner makes every decision the business takes.
Can a business name suit two owners with different birth dates?
It can be friendly or neutral to both, which is the target. Where it favours one owner, that person should hold the client-facing role.
