Name correction changes the spelling of a business name so its numbers improve, while keeping the name recognisable to existing customers. This calculator tests spelling variations against the favourable compounds and against your own Life Path number.
Business Name Correction Calculator
Find a luckier spelling of your business name without losing your brand identity. Our engine tests spelling variations against favorable Chaldean compounds (19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 27, 37, 41, 51) and your Life Path number.
How this calculation works
Correction works by adjusting spelling rather than replacing the name. Doubling a letter, dropping a silent letter, or swapping a vowel changes the total without changing how the name sounds when spoken.
The calculator takes your current name and your date of birth, then:
- Calculates the current Chaldean compound and single digit.
- Derives your Life Path number from your date of birth.
- Generates spelling variants and scores each against the favourable compounds — 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 27, 37, 41, 51 — and against friendliness to your own ruling planet.
- Ranks the options that stay closest to the original spelling.
How to read your result
A good correction meets three conditions at once: the new compound is favourable, the new single digit is friendly to your Life Path, and the spelling is close enough that customers do not notice a different business.
If the top suggestion changes the name beyond recognition, take the second or third option instead. A modest improvement you can actually adopt beats an ideal number you will never register.
What to do if the result is poor
If no variant improves the number materially, the name itself may not be the problem. Check whether the weakness sits elsewhere — in the owner-name alignment, in a missing number in the Lo Shu grid, or in timing.
There is also the case where the current name is already favourable. Correction then has nothing to fix, and effort is better spent on branding alignment and timing.
What this calculator does not tell you
The calculator does not check trademark availability, domain availability, or whether the corrected spelling reads awkwardly in your market. Those checks are yours to make before registering anything. Run any shortlisted spelling through the domain calculator too.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to legally change my registered name?
Often not. Numerology reads the name as written and used daily, so changing the display spelling on signage, website and marketing captures most of the benefit at a fraction of the cost.
Will changing the spelling confuse my customers?
A good correction is close enough that customers do not consciously notice. If a suggestion changes pronunciation, reject it and take a lower-ranked option.
How long does a name correction take to show results?
Numerology offers no timeline, and any source that gives you one is guessing. Treat correction as removing a headwind rather than adding a tailwind.
Should I correct the name if it is already favourable?
No. If your compound is already in the favourable group, correction has nothing to improve and risks weakening a name that is working.
